I wanted to send some cheer to a blogging friend who recently endured major surgery. I've been thinking about what to make her as I finished up with the star log cabin quilt (pictures soon). Inspired by my flowerbeds that are slowly waking up, I decided to make her a daffodil quilt. There aren't any pink or purple daffs that I know of, but heck, it's my quilt so I added them ;-) The design is by Jeanne Benson, who wrote a lovely book, The Art and Technique of Applique.
Hmm, border or no border? While I'm cleaning the house this morning, I'll be pondering that.
Here's hoping that you have time for fiber/fabric today,
Judy

It is so pretty , and I am not sure about the border but I am sure you will come up with a perfect solution :-)

Lovely flowers, your friend must love having you as a friend.
That's a sweet little quilt.....and the flowers will last much longer than a bunch would!
