Excitement! Martina, from the blog BimbiPea, had sent me a lovely hand carded, handspun knit cowl. The colors are quite nice-ranging from a medium orange to a forest green to various tans/browns. She must have spent hours on this, working with the wool, creating this just for me. I feel quite spoiled.
Did you notice how she matched the buttons to the various colors in the yarn?
She also crocheted me a small blue snowflake, which I'm going to hang in my studio.
Thanks so much, Martina, for a lovely surprise! I'll be wearing it soon, out in the cold :-)
I'm off to start work on a new quilt for our living room.
